PRIVATE & SECURE

Private Voices

A private channel between you and one person you trust completely.

Some things aren't meant for everyone. A message you've been holding for years. A conversation you want to have — slowly, carefully, across time. A way to stay close to someone who is learning to carry grief the same way you are. Private Voices was built for exactly that: a space that is entirely yours and theirs, invisible to everyone else on the memorial.

Once you create a Private Voices channel, you choose one person to share it with. They receive a private invitation, just for them. From that moment forward, you can exchange voice and video messages whenever you're ready — no timeline, no pressure. A message can sit for a week before you have the words to respond. That's fine. The channel never closes.

Everything exchanged there stays there. The recordings are stored securely, protected by a private access code that only the two of you hold. The channel doesn't appear anywhere on the memorial page, in any feed, or to any other visitor. It simply exists — quietly, permanently — for as long as either of you needs it.

How It Works

Simple from the first step.

1

Create your private channel from the memorial dashboard and choose who it's for — enter their email address.

2

They receive a private invitation by email, just for them, with a unique access link and a 6-digit backup code.

3

Record voice or video messages back and forth, whenever you're ready. There's no timeline — messages wait as long as they need to.

4

Your conversation is preserved permanently, accessible only with your private code. It never expires.

Security & Privacy

Access to Private Voices requires two things: the email address on the invitation, and a 6-digit access code sent privately. Neither factor alone is enough to enter the channel. The code never expires, and it can only be used with the exact email address it was created for.

The channel is never visible to anyone else on the memorial — not to family members, not to followers, not to co-owners. It does not appear in any listing, feed, or notification. The only way to access it is to know it exists and to hold the code.

Only one private channel can exist per memorial. This is intentional — it keeps the space intimate, not institutional.
