What this is

VoiceForEternity can text you a reminder when a live gathering you've been invited to goes live, as a companion to the email invitation. This is entirely optional, separate from any other notification, and it only ever applies to a number you confirm yourself — no one else can opt your number in on your behalf.

How you opt in

If a memorial owner adds you to their list of people invited to live gatherings, you'll receive an email with a link to your own confirmation page. There, after confirming you want to be part of future gatherings, you can optionally check a box to also receive text alerts — entering your own phone number if you'd like a text instead of (or in addition to) the email. Example of that confirmation page:

• You'll see a short explanation and a checkbox, not a pre-checked box
• Your phone number may be pre-filled from your invitation. You confirm or change it yourself, and the box is never pre-checked.
• You can turn the preference off again on the same page at any time

What you'll receive

A short confirmation text when you opt in, and then one text per live gathering you're invited to, around when it goes live. Message frequency varies with how many gatherings you're invited to. Message and data rates may apply. Carrier delivery is not guaranteed.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any text from us at any time to cancel text alerts for that number. You'll get one confirmation text and then receive nothing further. Reply START to resume. Reply HELP for help, or email support@voiceforeternity.com. You can also opt out from the same confirmation page where you opted in, by unchecking the box.
